I'm immersed in writing a play for TJT inspired by the history of the Group Theatre (1931-1939). It's a long and ambitious project that I began researching in 2005 and will not be produced until 2012, at the earliest. The process, in collaboration with Aaron Davidman
and Sam Ball is teaching me a a lot about our country's history, about trust, creativity and some sad truths about a particular American indifference and mistrust of what
has come to be known as "art."
